Our “On The Go Eco Products” category is dedicated to those items we use as we go about our daily lives.
Our daily lives are so busy these days that the products we use for everyday living tend to be made for convenience, many made out of plastic and worst of all disposed of on a unimaginable scale – take the plastic water bottle for example.
We are joining the mission to help eradicate single use plastics in our everyday lives. We must get away from our dependence on plastic, whether disposable or not, and move towards more sustainable products if we are to protect the next generation and indeed the planet.
We stock beautifully designed eco friendly products that are both innovative and functional. Many of the items in our on the go range are completely plastic free and each one supports the cause to rectify the environmental crisis we find ourselves in.
What are on the go eco products?

We believe that on the go products are those that we use as we go about our daily lives.
Below are some examples of these kinds of products that you’ll recognise.
Reusable Coffee Cups
It shouldn’t be a surprise anyone that millions of take away coffee cups are discarded to landfill every single day.
Coffee cups made from metals, glass and wood such as bamboo are now widely available so there’s no excuse not to have one. There is even a reusable cup made from recycled materials – the rCup.
This is such a big problem we have dedicated an entire category on our blog for the infamous reusable coffee cup.
Eco Friendly Water Bottles
As previously mentioned, the number of single use plastic water bottles that are discarded every day is eye watering and has been going on for a very long time.
Glass water bottles are great alternatives to the single use bottle.
Cutlery Sets
Whether you use cutlery for lunch at the office or family picnics, knives, forks and spoons should not be made of plastic and definitely not discarded.
There are some beautiful eco friendly cutlery sets available to help you avoid the single use options.
Reusable Straws
Reusable straws should be the norm these days. There’s been recent legislation in the UK to help support this cause and so plastic straws are now banned. Of course some eco friendly straws are better than others. For example paper straw are still single use and many will inevitably make their way to landfill at some point.
Bamboo straws on the other hand are designed to be used many times before they eventually end their lives in a compost heap.
Reusable Bags
Produce bags made from plastic have thankfully been under attack for some time now with legislation enforcing retailers to charge for their use. There has been a huge reduction in single use bags but recycled plastic bags should not be the go to solution.
Bags made from sustainable materials discourages single use and encourages sustainability and zero waste ethics.
Conclusion
I think you can see that these on the go eco products touch our lives almost every day from cups and bottles to produce carrier bags.
If we take a closer look at our daily habits I’m sure we’ll find small changes that we can make simply.
No matter which area of your life you are trying to change you’ll find plenty of products in this category to help you on your journey.
And we’re always here to help.
